This motion graphics project developed a visual identity for a fictional design conference centered around the theme of breaking down the design process. Inspired by architectural blueprints, I created a grid-based visual system using geometric typography, sequential line work, and structured layouts to reflect the precision and planning behind design. The identity was then extended into two animated deliverables: a widescreen conference intro for live presentations and a square speaker intro for social media and digital promotion.
Every animation was designed to reinforce the project's central concept. The blueprint rolls onto the screen before construction lines gradually outline each letter of the conference title, emphasizing the idea of building a design from the ground up. As outlines fill with color, information is introduced in a deliberate sequence that mirrors the creative process itself. The speaker intro adapts the same visual language into a shorter format, treating the conference branding as part of the blueprint while shifting the focus to the featured speaker. Together, the two animations demonstrate how a cohesive motion system can communicate consistently across multiple formats while using animation as a storytelling tool.
