This booklet was created for a design practices course at San José State University and explores the principle of hierarchy through both written content and visual design. Structured into sections on scale, contrast, and alignment, the layout uses a consistent system to explain each concept while actively demonstrating it through typographic hierarchy, spacing, and composition. By combining research-driven writing with intentional layout decisions, the project turns hierarchy into both the subject and the visual experience.
